7/12/25 - Delicious dinner last night at the Ledge Water. The rack of lamb and caramalized brussel sprouts were the best in NH as was the hand cut filet - both cooked to perfection. Our server was fantastic and very attentive to our needs and of course the sunset over Newfound was gorgeous.

Between the incredible steaks, the cakes, and the view - Ledgewater is a must have every summer! We typically get the chocolate cake peanut butter frosting when we visit and decided to order a whole one for a special occasion. It did not disappoint! Always spectacular service and great food. And if your into dessert cocktails, the chocolate raspberry martini is out of this world!

Ledge Water is without a doubt the nicest steak house in the Lakes Region (better than The New Woodshed - not even close), and it has the best views of any of the nicer dining establishments. The staff is great, very kind, not snooty at all. I had the lamb, my wife had the stuffed shrimp. One of our guests had the Lion’s Mane mushroom - everything was great. The salads were tasty; lettuce wedge and Caesar. They were gluten free (“gf”) aware and there were great options. The desserts are w Enormous. Like the size of pizzas. Giant, good looking cakes (no GF option, hey it happens).

Excellent food and cooked to perfection. This place is hidden and has excellent outside seating area. The view over the lake was spectacular. The only thing that was not up to our expectations was the baked stuffed haddock with lobster stuffing. Very little stuffing, otherwise it was tasty. Deserts are huge and very yummy.

I've been hearing for years about how amazing this place is and how I simply have to go here. I wish I had listened sooner. I vacation here every year but it's hard to fit everything into one week. I will never skip the Ledges again though after my wonderful dinner last night. What an experience! Many of my friends spend their Anniversaries here and I completely understand the mystique now. The view of Newfound Lake from the Ledges Steakhouse is simply extraordinary, especially as the sun is setting. The establishment itself is simply adorable. It is so tastefully decorated and landscaped. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride of ownership and it comes across in the quality of the food too. The staff was amazing and attentive even though they were incredibly busy. But the real reason for the 5-star rating (I'd give 10 stars if I could), is simply the food itself. I have frequented many steakhouses over the years, and I can say with all honesty that this was the best steak I have ever had. It's often that you find the most incredible food off the beaten path and this place is no exception. It is in a small town not really known for its culinary establishments and it's hidden up the side of a hill. In my opinion, those are the best finds, and this was the perfect example of a hidden gem. Don't miss out on the Ledges because you are denying yourself one of the best culinary delicacies in the entire Lakes Region of NH ... and don't even get me started on those delectable desserts!

Don't let the higher prices scare you because this place is worth every penny. Fantastic cuts of meat that will make you cry when it's all gone. We happend to come at sunset and that beautiful lake shimmers with perfection for a dinner date. After your recovery from the views and main course, take your stomach to the next level with Jumbo cake slices!

Best creamed spinach ever. My wife’s filet was great. The NY Strip was just very good a little over cooked. Salad and sides were very good. Attentive service and fairly quick for a table of 11 people. The Cakes! Incredible. Many table options for views of the lake.
